UCD Engineering (DN150)
This degree programme provides access to a wide range of options in engineering. After a largely common first year, you choose an area of specialisation. Later, you can choose further specialisations and alternative degrees (BSc, BE or ME) – exactly what is available depends on your area of specialisation.
Graduates of the BE programme should be able to:
(1) enter employment as a graduate engineer e.g. in industry or public service, or
(2) continue studies towards a higher degree - e.g. Masters or PhD - either in UCD or elsewhere in Ireland or internationally, or
(3) enter graduate education/training programmes either in engineering or other fields e.g. business, law, medicine, teaching etc.
