Depending on your chosen area, your programme of study over the four years is designed to help you achieve/develop the following:
¿ a fundamental grasp of the physical, biological, and economic sciences needed
to equip you with a strong base for your professional area;
¿ the ability to draw on your knowledge base to analyse problems and develop solutions that meet the highest economic, environmental and social standards;
¿ equip you with the education and skills to enable you to provide leadership within your professional area
As well as providing you with the principles, concepts and ideas directly related to your chosen degree programme option, the BAgrSc is also designed to develop transferable skills, which can be applied in almost any area of employment. These include:
¿ the ability to think analytically, solve problems, and be creative;
¿ the capacity for life-long learning so as to remain knowledgeable of evolving technical, economic, policy and regulatory frameworks;
¿ a range of information technology and communication skills plus interpersonal and professional development skills which can be used in many areas of professional employment
